Watt

A unit of power equal to the rate of work represented by a current of one ampere under a pressure of one volt. It is the way appliances are measured for power consumption.

Watts = amps x volts.

One watt is equal to the 'volume' of 1 amp delivered at the 'pressure' of 1 volt.
