Precast Concrete

Concrete components that have been cast in a form or mould at the factory and transported to the construction site (or alternatively cast on-site) prior to being placed in their final positions. The advantages of using precast concrete is the reduced cost of constructing large forms used with poured-in-place concrete, and the increased quality of the material when formed in controlled conditions.
