Perimeter Drain

A perforated plastic pipe (3-4 inches in diameter) that goes around either the inside or outside perimeter of a foundation wall and collects and diverts ground water away from the foundation

The perimeter drain is normally 'daylighted' into a sump pit inside the home, and a sump can be inserted into the pit to discharge any accumulation of water.
