Mosaic

Ceramic, glass, porcelain, metal or stone tile less than 40 sq cm (6 sq in) in area. These small tiles (which may be squares, octagons, hexagons or simply random shapes) may be used to form a surface design or an intricate pattern. They are commonly seen in interior design as mosaic flooring.
